What We Do

metal and scrapTT & E Iron & Metal, Inc. purchases scrap metals and white goods from companies and individuals. We process these materials and ship them to various refining companies. The metals are then reprocessed into usable materials, helping our environment and resources.

Metals and scrap may be brought to our location for recycling. We also offer containers of different sizes, trailers on site and lockable trays that are delivered to your site for commercial construction sites, large jobs and companies. The Thompsons view their business as a service to the community. Anyone who has tried to get rid of a junked car or an old appliance can appreciate that. North Carolina law no longer allows white goods in landfills, and they won't accept old cars. Most landfills charge fees for those things they will take, so bring it to us, where it can be recycled and we can pay you instead.
